Call for Speakers

Learning Counsel’s annual national Gathering is “the intellectual’s retreat” of the year in education technology. As such, our 2019 search for speakers will center on both the event’s theme and finding the best speakers who can bring context or inspiration around the theme. Please click here to offer any speaker ideas or make any referrals.

Here is what we are most interested in for keynote or break-out topics in 2019 from the education community. These need to be educators and not companies selling in this field, we reserve speaker positions independently for sponsoring vendors:

Expectations:

1. 40 minute presentation start to finish, including time for Q&A with audience members at the end.
2. The presentation will need to be able to be shared with attendees of the conference.
3. Please submit by Thursday, August 1, 2019 to doug@learningcounsel.com.

• Name, Title, School/District, full address, phone and email
• Topic Proposed
• Sub-title if needed (one sentence description)
• Speaker Photo in high resolution jpg or png file
• Speaker short-Bio (50-word)
• 100-200 word description of intent of presentation
• Slide presentation if available


4. Speakers will be notified of their selection to speak by Friday, September 16, 2019.
